Digital Strategist

As a Digital Strategist, being results and data-oriented should come naturally to you. You must have a firm understanding of navigating through various digital mediums. You will initiate digital projects, analyze clients’ data, devise effective digital marketing strategies, and ensure project execution is within the allocated resources and requirements. Ultimately, you will steer our clients’ digital narrative and drive highly effective digital campaigns for them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Ideate & develop high-quality, original content for a variety of platforms, including social media, websites, email newsletters, marketing collateral, blog posts, articles, and more. This involves researching topics, writing engaging and persuasive copy, and optimizing content for each platform.
  • Content Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies that align with client objectives and target audience needs. Contribute to brainstorming sessions and generate creative content ideas.
  • Content Calendar Management: Plan, organize, and maintain content calendars, ensuring timely delivery of content across various platforms and campaigns.
  • Social Media Management: Create and curate engaging social media content, schedule posts, monitor social media trends, and contribute to social media strategy development.
  • Editing and Proofreading: Meticulously review and edit all content to ensure it is free of grammatical errors, typos, inconsistencies, and adheres to brand guidelines.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research on industry trends, competitor activities, and target audience preferences to inform content creation. Analyze content performance using analytics tools and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely and effectively with other team members, including designers, marketers, and project managers, to ensure seamless execution of marketing campaigns.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in a marketing agency or related field.
  • Proven track record of creating high-quality, engaging content.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills in English, with a strong command of grammar and style.
  • Proficiency in writing in Bahasa Malaysia is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly creative, detail-oriented, and organized.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of the digital landscape, social media trends, and best practices.
